7 years agoGreat food & Friendly Staff! They are only open to public Wed-Friday, but great live music offered. Wonderful place to host a private event downtown Trenton. Highly recommended

7 years agoTV's Grand Event was the perfect place for my daughter's wedding! It's quaint and elegant. The staff and owner are wonderful people. If we needed something we only had to ask, and it was there. The reception hall was set up beautifully. The food was absolutely delicious! We couldn't beat the price anywhere. We set up a package with their recommended D.J. TJ Monte and Cakes by Stephanie. The price was amazing and the D.J was very professional and the cake was to die for, with 3 layers, with 3 flavors of cake and fillings! I can't rave enough about the place. They allowed us to set up the day before the event, so there was no last minute craziness. This place is perfect!

8 years agoAs a wedding venue, TV's Grand Event exceeded our expectations. All of the food was excellent, the prices were very reasonable, the staff was friendly, organized, and easy to work with, and the venue itself has lots of historic flair. Throughout the evening, an overwhelming number of our guests told us how much they enjoyed the food and how memorable the atmosphere was. The building was great for taking photos and has lots of interesting details, such as the historic bar on the main floor. We would definitely book an event here again!

8 years agoA few years back I had my wedding here and the staff was amazing. They did everything to make the day great for me and my guests. The food was delicious. I was so happy with everything that I had my baby shower here as well. They did not disappoint. If I ever need to rent a hall again I know where I will be going.

10 years agoI recently had a baby shower at TV's Grand Event. The day was a great success! I can't say enough about the staff and all the help we received from start to finish. My emails were always answered very promptly and the staff was very accommodating with any request we had. As for the meal, we had a pasta buffet and it was delicious! I had many messages and phone calls in the days following to tell me how nice the shower was and how good everyone thought the food was. So again, thank you to Sue and her staff for a job well done. I would definitely recommend this venue!

10 years agoIf you are planning a Event,,, Look no further...This is the PLACE!!!! The place is FANTASTIC! We just had our wedding there on 11-21. Actually it started as a Surprise Birthday party for my partner, but Surprise was actually for our guest. 45 minutes in we got married. Birthday Party started downstairs and then we moved upstairs for the ceremony and then back down for the reception. Sue and her Staff completely turn the downstairs from Birthday to Wedding within 30 min. All the guest were floored. The food was Excellent (they have a Great Chef) and the Service was beyond belief. None of our guest wanted for anything all night!! All the staff were friendly and attentive! I could go on and on... From Beautiful Historic Building to the manager Sue, the owner Vic and the amazing Staff you could not find a better venue.....

10 years agoI've been meaning to post this review for months. My husband and I had our wedding ceremony and reception in the Grand Ballroom last September, and it was fantastic! Everything was set up just as we requested, and looked lovely. I don't know what to rave about more, the food or the wait staff. We had a breakfast buffet for dinner (brinner, if you will), and it was out of this world! Our guest were so delighted, not just because it's fun to have French toast and scrambled eggs at 7 p.m., but because everything on the menu was so, so good. I saw person after person go up for seconds, and I couldn't have been happier! And the wait staff could NOT have been better. They were friendly and fun and right on top of everything we needed -- and my mimosa glass was never empty! :-) I highly recommend this place for your party or event. They are kind and accommodating, the prices are reasonable, and the food is delicious. They were a huge part in making our wedding day unforgettable.

12 years agoThat place have a very nice and comfortable atmosphere. Food is yam, prices are acceptable! Big variety of wine from all over the world including Michigan. Music on the weekends, friendly staff and clean!
